East Greenland Ice Climbing Exploration - Tasiilaq
The trip would depart the US on the 20th of March and return on the 30th of March. This means arriving in Greenland on the 22nd and departing Greenland on the 29th of March. As a reminder there is potential for mountaineering style ascents and ridge traverses if conditions and/or climber interest dictates.
March 20th - Depart the US
March 21th - Arrive in Iceland with a full day layover in Iceland to explore and play tourist. Allows some buffer for any delays and or lost luggage. If we miss the flight to Kulusuk we are stuck in Iceland for 3 more days!
March 22th - AM Flight to Kulusuk Greenland, PM helicopter to Tasiilaq via Air Greenland
March 23 - Ice Climb - Travel to climbs via Skidoo each day (20mins to 1hr each way)
March 24 - Ice Climb - Travel to climbs via Skidoo each day (20mins to 1hr each way)
March 25 - Ice Climb - Travel to climbs via Skidoo each day (20mins to 1hr each way)
March 26 - Rest Day & Dog Sledding (Included in Price)
March 27 - Ice Climb - Travel to climbs via Skidoo each day (20mins to 1hr each way)
March 28 - Ice Climb - Travel to climbs via Skidoo each day (20mins to 1hr each way)
March 29 - AM Departure from Tasiilaq & Flight onwards to Iceland
March 30 - Travel Home
