7 Day Program for Sierra Negra and Pico de Orizaba

Day 1: Depart the US, Fly to Mexico City, Transfer to a Boutique Modern Hotel in the Historic District
Day 2: Explore Mexico City and Ancient Ruins of Teotihuacán
Day 3: Transfer to San Miguel de Zoapan at the base of Orizaba
Day 4: Summit Climb of Sierra Negra - 5th Highest in Mexico
Day 5: Transfer via 4x4 from San Miguel Zoapan to Piedra Grande Hut. We will have our own self contained Base Camp which provides for better sleep and hygiene. (Tent)
Day 6: Acclimatization Day (Tent)
Day 7: Summit Attempt on Pico de Orizaba - 18,491 feet (3rd Highest Peak in North America). Transfer to Mexico City hotel.
Day 8: Depart Mexico City in the AM
