Mount Shuksan
3 Day Private Guided Climb of Mount Shuksan
*Price Based on 2 person trips.
Total Elevation Gain = 6700 Feet, Basic Glacier Travel, Rock Climbing up to Easy 5th Class
Summer 2024
Day 0 - PM Gear Check and Safety Briefing
Day 1 - We hike up through beautiful old-growth forest en route to an alpine wonderland with expansive views of Mount Baker and the North Cascades. We setup camp at the edge of the Sulphide Glacier.
Day 2 - AM - Snow School and Training. PM - Travel 2 hours up the glacier and establish a second camp on the Upper Sulphide Glacier.
Day 3 - We wake up at Midnight and attempt the summit. After only a few hours of glacier travel we transition to an aesthetic rock spine (SE Ridge) which leads directly to the summit. We then safely work our way back down the mountain and all the way back to the Trailhead.
